At the epicentre of pop, rock, soul and reggae music once sat the 7" single — the perfect embodiment of a once readily-available, easily-accessible, multi-genre music format now sadly almost defunct. Reliving his own personal jukebox Wright celebrates a five decade obsession with vinyl through this visual tribute to popular music’s most iconic artefact.

The quest to locate a long-lost rare-groove from an independent second-hand record shop, the anticipation prior to a record's first spin on the turntable, the satisfaction in slipping the chunky jet black disk from its paper sleeve are all encapsulated and interpreted in Wright's dual artworks.
